PAINTER SCULPTOR PRINTMAKER

Kris Bovenizer is a full time artist working and living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Kris has a Double Hons. BA in English and Anthropology from York University in Toronto. Her Fine arts certification comes from Toronto's "The Art Centre"; where she received advanced standing and was subsequently recruited from the graduating class of 2008. She now teaches their continuing education classes in Printmaking as part of the Toronto District School Board.

Kris's personal work is predominantly as a painter/sculptor/printmaker, but she loves to branch out through collaboration. She is a former Vice President of the Medallic Arts Society of Canada. She has also worked with Zata Omm dance company to create sculptural costumes, and as a private contractor assisting several businesses in their branding, logo and marketing strategies.
